Photos of 5-year-old Sophia Chiappalone who wants to marry her best friend before her 4th heart surgery has since gone viral on social media.

Sophia who is from Connecticut, USA is the same as every other kid – a bright, bubbly girl with a huge smile on her face… However, not everyone knows that this little girl is a true warrior.

She was born with a genetic heart defect and wasn’t expected to live past 2 years old. Nevertheless, Sophia defied all odds.

Since she was a baby, Sophia had been in and out of the hospital. Now she’s getting ready to go under the knife again for her fourth open-heart surgery.

But before that happens, the girl wanted one of her dreams to come true – “She wished to have a dream marriage ceremony and “marry” her best friend, Hunter.”

Sophia’s mom, Kristy then got the permission of Hunter’s parents and staged a “marriage ceremony photo shoot” for the 2 youngsters.

And now the beautiful and courageous girl is prepared for another fight for her dear life.
